Common faults of cold heading machine

Cold heading machine is a special equipment mainly used for batch production of fasteners such as nuts and bolts. The cold heading machine is cold formed at room temperature, with good working surface finish, high precision and excellent strength performance. The cold pier process is to use the mold to directly use the wire rod for one-time forming, which is operated by the manipulator, greatly improving the production efficiency, and is safe and reliable.

Common faults of cold heading machine include:

1、 Press the start button of the machine tool, and the drive flywheel does not rotate. Cause:

1. The current of the machine tool is not connected;

2. The triangular conveyor belt on the flywheel is too loose or tight;

3. The flywheel is overloaded and jammed, resulting in stuffiness.

Troubleshooting: check whether the electrical circuit of the machine tool is abnormal and whether all relevant contactors are in good condition; Check whether the flywheel is completely disengaged and whether there are foreign matters stuck in the flywheel.

2、 The sliding block crankshaft and bearing bush generate heat during operation. The causes are as follows:

1. The oil path on the crankshaft and bearing bush is blocked or blocked;

2. The surface of crankshaft journal or bearing bush is seriously strained.

3. The clearance between crankshaft journal and crankshaft pad is too small;

Troubleshooting: clean and dredge relevant oil lines to ensure smooth lubrication; Adjust the clearance between journal and bearing bush to make it suitable; Scrape or fine bore (polish) the damaged bearing bush, and repair the strained surface.
